Please join the BHS as it honors and commemorates the Marquis de Lafayette's visit to Bordentown, September 26, 1824 (200 years to the day the Marquis was here!) with the unveiling of a beautiful marker commemorating that event given to the BHS by The Lafayette Trail, Inc. The short dedication ceremony will be followed by 2 lectures about Lafayette: 1 by Lafayette reenactor Michael Halbert who will be dressed in clothes that Lafayette wore. The 2nd lecture will be given by Lafayette authority, John Becica.
We are honored to dedicate this marker commemorating Lafayette's visit to Joseph Bonaparte at Point Breeze 200yrs ago.
