Please join us for a fascinating lecture by Dr. Letvin, the Associate Curator of European Art at the Princeton University Art Museum. She will discuss the paintings of Charlotte Bonaparte, Joseph Bonaparte's younger daughter who was  an accomplished painter in her own right.  The lecture will be given at Old City Hall. We are asking for a minimum donation of $10/person for BHS members and $15/person for non-members (payable at the door). Please register for this event.

Dr. Alexandra Letvin is the inaugural Duane Wilder, Class of 1951, Associate Curator of European Art at the Princeton University Art Museum, where she guides the Museum’s program in European painting and sculpture from the medieval period to 1945. A specialist in the art of early modern Spain, her projects at Princeton include the installation of the European galleries (2025) and an upcoming exhibition on Édouard Manet’s Woman with a Cigarette(2027).
